Giving It Over to God

As a child of God, I am so blessed that I have a Savior that I can take anything to and know that He will take care of me. He understands everything about me. He knew all of the trials I would face. He knows all of the obstacles that block my way. He knows all of the pressures that I am under. He knows the confrontations that are so tough for me to get through. He knows when I get scared and worried. He knows the things I can handle and He knows the things I cannot handle. All He asks me to do is just give it over to Him and trust Him. I have to stay connected to Him and to the resources that He surrounds me with, He takes care of the rest. I have a loving Father who wants the best for me, who loves me more than I could ever comprehend. He has a winning race marked out just for me, (and you).
Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV- Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Sometimes our insecurities get the best of us. We can find ourselves shrinking under the weight of trying to please someone else. When we stay true to ourselves, and we stay true to our dependence on God, it’s more than amazing what He brings us through, and we come out shining brighter than we ever did before. The situations where we thought we would fall apart, we’re standing strong. That’s our God, that’s how He works. We have to be willing to hear God’s voice through all of the negativity and distractions that are around us. When we open our hearts to God, He showers us with His love and protection.
Psalm 139:14 NKJV- I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
Philippians 4:13 NKJV- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
