On My Own

Many times we think we have all the answers. We don’t need someone else’s input because we think we know better. Often times mistakes happen when we shut others out and we don’t seek the advice we need. Going through life is tough enough without isolating from everyone. We all need people to lean on, especially in times of crisis. We need others to help cheer us up when we’re down. When times are rough, we need people to lift us up, to give us support, to say they love us. I think I can safely say that a lot of us have bad days. We may be whiny and grumpy, but we still need people in our lives who understand us and and stick by us.

Trying to do life alone doesn’t work. God created us for relationship with Him and each other. That’s how we learn, that’s how we grow. Whether it’s family, work, or friends, relationships are essential in helping us succeed in this life. Of course, the most important one being our relationship with our Lord and Savior. Having a strong, healthy connection with people we trust, and putting our faith in Jesus leads us to the gratification we seek and desire. We’re never alone to try to muddle through life’s chaos. It can be quite lonely when we isolate ourselves from others.

When we try to go at things on our own, and we don’t trust God, of course it never works. Instead of submitting to God, we get very impatient and we become hasty and then we just spiral out of control. Waiting on God, turning our hearts to Him and relying on His will for us is a plan for success. He will never leave us on our own. He will never abandon us. None of us are better off on our own. We need others in our lives. We need God in our lives!!!!

(Matthew 4:4 ESV) ”But He answered, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”

(Matthew 6:33 ESV) But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

(Galatians 6:3 ESV) For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

About Rita:
“The breakthrough point for when my faith in God really started to grow was in 2000-2001. Through a series of trampled relationships, I turned my focus to God. I love reading, walking, and playing challenging word games. I have a beautiful daughter who lives in Florida, and my vacation time is spent with her. I have learned that having a Christ-centered life settles my anxieties and truly opens the door to God’s plan for me.”
